Whistler joins the growing list of communities, local governments, and First Nations opposing the Northern Gateway Project. Let the landslide begin!

To your elected representatives - municipal mayors and councillors, and electoral area district directors - those who whine that they have no jurisdiction over the pipeline, that is the feeblest of pretexts.

They must recognize that a chorus of resolutions by local councils would add up to a powerful suasive force against the pipeline.

So push them. You elected them. They represent you, in matters over which their governments have jurisdiction, and over which they only have a concern. To remain silent, is to acquiesce.
